Job description

Healthcare Facility is Financial Controller to oversee all financial and accounting activities. The ideal candidate will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for providing financial reporting & analysis, and strong communication with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close; import data into financial software
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll taxes (940, 941, NYS45)
• Prepare and manage annual audits
• Manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures
• Communicate financial metrics to CFO
• Provide support to AR, AP and payroll departments
• Analyzing consolidated expense data

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or controller role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas required
• Experience in a healthcare organization preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Ability to work closely with a senior management team

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
