Job description
- Guides and trains program staff through the budgeting and monitoring process
- Prepares budget modifications and budget to actual variance reports
- Prepares budgets for grants/contracts and proposals
- Manages award schedule
- Manages the tracking and release of restricted net assets
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation and records cash disbursements.
- Records credit card charges and reconcile the statements
- Maintains accounts receivable, aging
- Maintains accurate general ledger and allocation of revenue and expenses by various programs
- Monitors deadlines for grant claims, budgets, reports, and budget modification
- Prepares asset, liability, and net assets account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Some public accounting experience a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong QUICKBOOKS skills are a MUST.
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Deadline-oriented and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
